James Hardie Europe GmbH is a subsidiary of the worldwide operating James Hardie Industries plc, which was founded in Australia in 1888. Their ColourPlus™ technology delivers a paint finish elastically bonded to fibre cement boards, offering up to 30% greater UV and light resistance than site-applied finishes. Meanwhile, HardieZone™ technology uses climate-specific fibre cement formulations, engineered for performance in all climates. The Aestuver® brand, acquired by James Hardie in 2018, offers glass-fibre‑reinforced lightweight concrete fire protection panels produced via a sprayed fibre process, providing compressive and flexural strength, weather and frost resistance and fire protection. Ferma­cell® gypsum fibreboards meet A2‑s1,d0 classification under EN 13501‑1 and ETA‑03/0050: they provide structural stiffness, fire resistance, moisture tolerance and sound absorption, enhancing execution safety, installation speed, and economy of drywall systems compared to regular gypsum boards.
